I'm working on two books, and so not managing a weekly newsletter lately (I've frozen payments so nobody will be out of pocket AND new pieces of writing.)
I've been thinking about what I want to write about, and thought I'd turn to you to see what you enjoy.
I love predisposition's pieces on autism, they are reflective and deep, and really just about being a person. Autism is crucial but also incidental, if that makes sense.
But I also like the pieces by autism advocates that teach me more about what the hell is actually going on with my brain and how I can live in the world better.
I’m not sure what my approach is, maybe the middle area between these two…?
But I'm really interested in what you like reading. And up for recommendations too.
I really enjoy the variety of topics you write on. You have a great voice and it’s always interesting to read your posts. I’ve also been enjoying Katherine May’s work a lot
She's not on Substack, but I highly, highly recommend Jess Wilson from Diary of a Mom. https://www.facebook.com/adiaryofamom Also not on Substack but anything by Susan Senator.
